Singapore’s first travel-themed cafe operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East) Singapore Office turns 5 on 4 December 2021. As the saying goes, December is the season of giving, and this is especially the case for JAPAN RAIL CAFE—from 3 to 30 December, JAPAN RAIL CAFE will be having a month-long campaign of giveaways and prizes to be won in celebration of their big birthday as well as to show gratitude to all who have supported the cafe’s journey.

With a new campaign each week, dine-in customers will be able to participate in an array of giveaways as the cafe goes into full-on celebration mode to end 2021 in a jolly good mood.
Week 1: Original Eco Bag

In commemoration of JAPAN RAIL CAFE’s 5th anniversary, dine in at the cafe to receive a limited edition foldable original eco bag with a minimum of 1 dine-in order! If you come as a family, children age 12 and below will be able to receive a papercraft Shinkansen.

- 1 redemption per pax per order
- Example: A group of 5 customers who have ordered 2 dishes will receive 2 bags, whereas a group of 3 customers who have ordered 4 items will receive 3 bags.
Week 2: Shin’etsu Travel Set

Stand a chance to win a pair of JR EAST PASS (Nagano, Niigata area) and a 1-night stay at HOTEL METROPOLITAN NAGANO in Nagano Prefecture!

- Terms & Conditions:
- 1 entry per pax per receipt — please enter the receipt number in the Lucky Draw form which you can find on the receipt.
- Only Singapore residents qualify for this campaign.
- Japanese passport holders are not eligible to redeem or use the JR East Pass.
- If a Japanese passport holder is awarded the Shin’etsu Travel Set, the prize will consist of its respective JR East Hotel stay only.
- Each individual is limited to 1 entry only. Repeated entries or suspicious activity involving fraud will be disqualified without notice.

Week 3: Suica & nomono Goods

Did you know that JR East doesn’t just operate some of East Japan’s major railway lines, but also several chains of food and retail businesses? Get your hands on some delicious nomono goodies for free when you dine at JAPAN RAIL CAFE! Otherwise, you can also get them at the cafe’s retail corner or at JW360º. And who can forget JR East’s loveable mascot Suica who appears on JR East’s IC card? You might just be able to bring home exclusive Suica merchandise that is hard to come by in Singapore!

Week 4: Tohoku Travel Set
