Ever wanted to know what it is like to be a train conductor or train driver in Japan? Then try the Train Conductor / Driver Simulator! You can try your hands on the simulators that the train crew themselves use for their training, experience the work of a train driver or conductor, and even operate platform doors. You can also learn about the history of Japan’s railways while touring Yokohama (around JR Sakuragichō Station), where the country’s railways began, and enjoy the special experience of riding on an actual train that used to operate in the past.

This tour includes the following items:
・Sakuragicho Control Center, crew unit (60 minutes)
Driver and conductor simulator, wake-up device experience, platform door simulator, commemorative photo-taking with uniform and cap
・Transportation (JR Keihin-Tōhoku Line, Isogo Station to Sakuragicho Station, 12 minutes)

・JR Sakuragichō Station, train history experience tour (around 50 minutes)
Visiting the Railway Founding Site Monument, the old side gallery, and special ride on the 110-type steam locomotive and medium-class passenger car
・Note: the tour will be conducted in English or Chinese.
