Hirosaki City, located in Aomori Prefecture, is a historic castle town with great potential as a regional travel destination.

In spring, more than 2,600 cherry trees bloom around Hirosaki Castle. In summer, travellers can enjoy the Shirakami Mountains, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, and the traditional Hirosaki Neputa Festival. Autumn brings harvest season to Hirosaki, Japan’s leading apple-producing region. In winter, snow transforms Hirosaki Castle into a breathtaking landscape, illuminated by the gentle glow of the Snow Lantern Festival, a celebration of light and tranquility.

ACCESS TOHOKU, your gateway to the delicious food, fun experiences, and unforgettable journeys of Japan’s Tohoku region, is bringing exciting new travel ideas and exclusive items to Singapore!

This time’s main feature is a special tour built around the Tohoku Kizuna Festival, where you can experience the lively festivals of all six Tohoku prefectures at once! We’ll also be featuring popular local snacks and onigiri (rice balls)—with free tastings, of course!

JR Fruits Park Sendai Arahama opened in the Arahama area of Sendai City in 2021. The Fruits Park can be reached by public transport, and offers various types of fruit picking all year round.

Actual pears from the Fruit Park can be purchased at our booth. We will also be providing information on visiting the Fruit Park, so if you like the pears, please come visit the site in person!

The JNTO Singapore Office is primarily involved in promoting Japan travel to Singaporean residents. We communicate the appeal of traveling to Japan to the masses in Singapore through exhibits at travel fairs, seminars, and information dissemination through the media.

Yamaguchi Prefecture, located on the westernmost edge of Honshu (the main island of Japan), is one of Japan’s best-kept secrets. Its unspoiled landscapes evoke a sense of the “Wild West,” providing refreshing outdoor experiences.

JR EAST Yokohama Branch Office

JR East Yokohama Branch operates a convenient express train connecting Tokyo and Izu. Enjoy a wonderful journey aboard the elegant “Saphir ODORIKO” and experience exquisite travel. It takes about 2 hours and 40 minutes to travel from Tokyo to Izu by express train.

At the booth, you will find convenient ticketing services, transportation information, and tourist spots in the Izu area.

Izu Peninsula Geopark and Tourism Bureau

Under the theme of “Making Izu one,” this is a Destination Management Organization (DMO) formed by 13 cities and towns within its jurisdiction with the aim of promoting tourism and revitalizing the region on the Izu Peninsula. The Izu Peninsula is easily accessible from Tokyo, extending from the eastern part of Shizuoka Prefecture and the border with Kanagawa Prefecture out into the Pacific Ocean.

We will introduce you to its beautiful nature, rich food culture developed over a long history, various activities, and stunning views. The early-blooming Kawazu cherry blossoms, beautiful seas, and views of Mount Fuji are particularly famous.
