With over 40 years of dedication to jelly-making, Hokushinfoods launched “FURUFURU labo” to share more flavourful, convenient, and health-conscious fruit jellies. Born from a desire to honour Hokkaido’s Yubari melon farmers, their iconic jelly has been delighting customers since 1984.
From Dairy Roots to Jelly Innovation
Originally a dairy processor, Hokushinfoods took a bold step in the 1980s to preserve the flavour of freshly harvested Yubari melons. Driven by a wish to reduce waste and support local farmers, the company pioneered a jelly that captured the fruit’s aroma and richness—laying the foundation for today’s beloved “Sherberrious Yubari Melon.”

Launched to mark four decades of jelly craftsmanship, FURUFURU labo is Hokushinfoods’ online shop, offering creative fruit jellies made with premium domestic ingredients.
