The Limited Express HITACHI・TOKIWA connects passengers between Tokyo and Ibaraki on the Joban Line~ In an exciting collaboration between JR Katsuta Station and Saza Coffee, hop onboard with us to try this "Limited Express" coffee which comes in 6 different colours (Hitachi Tokiwa, Green Lake, Yellow Jonquil, Blue Ocean, Scarlet Blossom, Orange Persimmon)—each with a unique flavour inspired by the distinct colours of the trains.
Made with "Silk Sweet" locally produced in Ibaraki Prefecture, this potato sticks snack is crispy in texture using traditional methods. Added sugar is kept to a minimum to make the most of the natural sweetness of the sweet potatoes, creating a delightful treat.
Lotus roots or renkon are sourced from local farmers in Ibaraki to create this beloved snack. Only fresh lotus roots harvested within two days are used, which are then deep-fried without any added wheat flour. This allows you to enjoy the pure, natural flavour of the lotus root. Eat it as it is, or sprinkle some aonori or wasabi powder to taste!
