Since 1963, Senya has perfected the art of rice cracker dough, believing great senbei begins at the base. Made with “Hitomebore” rice from Iwate’s pure air and water, each piece is baked with care and finished with rich tamari soy sauce—a bold, savoury taste of tradition.

In a special collaboration with JR East and JR West, this snack looks like black coal—but inside is roasted cheese coated in binchōtan (a traditional Japanese white charcoal powder). Its rich umami pairs perfectly with the sweet and savoury notes of soy sauce and chilli, making it an irresistible companion for drinks.

A crunchy, addictive mix of cracked sesame rice crackers soaked in special soy sauce and “kakipi,” a spicy rice cracker–peanut blend. Made with soy sauce from Yagisawa Shoten, a 200-year-old family business in Rikuzentakata, Iwate, this snack delivers tradition and bold flavour in every bite.

Thin, crispy karinto inspired by Daigaku Imo—candied sweet potatoes enjoyed around university grounds. Made with sweet potato paste and sesame seeds, then lightly fried and coated with syrup for a sweet, nutty flavour. A speciality of Chibakei Seika, a traditional confectioner from Hiraizumi, a town renowned for its UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Crispy karinto made with 100% Iwate-grown “Mochihime” wheat, a rare glutinous wheat with no amylose, giving the snack a chewy yet moist texture. Each piece is coated with Chibakei Seika’s signature black honey sweet bean paste, creating a carefully crafted, elegant finish.

This devilishly addictive rice cracker, “Fiery Demon Habaneron,” is made with 100% Nanbu wheat from Iwate Prefecture and delivers an intense spicy kick. Light, crispy, and perfectly portioned, it’s an irresistible snack for beer or a bold treat anytime you crave heat—the ultimate spicy challenge for brave snack lovers!

Made primarily from domestically sourced okara (soy pulp), pumpkin, and non-glutinous rice, these chips are lightly fried for a crispy, airy texture. Naturally sweet with a gentle pumpkin aroma, they offer a wholesome, comforting snack crafted with simple, high-quality ingredients.

Grilled fish paste wrapped around crunchy black sesame seeds and shaped into sticks, these snacks deliver a satisfyingly popping texture in every bite. Packaged in a cute, resealable pouch, they’re perfect for a midday treat or a fun accompaniment to drinks.
