Enjoy trekking and getting in touch with Mother Nature in Hachinohe, the starting and ending point of the Michinoku Coastal Trail. First, savour a hospitable lunch prepared by fishermen using seafood caught at the nearby fishing port, including a sushi roll-making experience, followed by an immersive trek through the beautiful landscapes. Finally, experience the culture of Hachinohe through a tour of the fishermen’s streets (YOKOCHO) and enjoy some drinks to end the tour!
Tour itinerary:
JR Hachinohe Station (11:00 AM) → Tanesashi Kaigan Information Center (11:45 AM)
→ Sushi roll-making experience and fisherman’s lunch at Tanesashi Fishing Port (12:10 PM ~)
→ Trekking (2:00 PM ~ 4:00 PM) → Take a cab to the city centre (4:00 PM ~ 4:30 PM)
→ A tour of the streets (YOKOCHO) (4:30 PM ~ 5:30 PM)

ăƒ»This tour is meant for participants who are physically fit enough to walk at least 2 kilometres, even at a slow pace, as trekking on trails is involved.

ăƒ»Trekking may be cancelled due to weather conditions.
ăƒ»The route from Tanesashi Kaigan Information Center to Tanesashi Fishing Port can be covered by car upon request.
ăƒ»The trek distance will be approximately 2 to 3 kilometres.
ăƒ»Time for rest and rehydration will be provided, and transportation by car will be provided depending on your walking pace.
