A Heritage of Handcrafted Senbei
Shiga Senbei began as a confectionery shop and, since 1945, has focused on Nambu senbei, a beloved regional snack. Using hand-operated iron moulds and 100% Nambu wheat, each senbei is crafted with a satisfying crunch and gentle flavour. Natural salt and minimal additives preserve the nostalgic taste cherished for generations.

While staying true to classic Nanbu senbei, Shiga Senbei continues to explore new flavours and textures. From cocoa and apple variations to creative “Nanbu snacks,” each item is handmade with care, blending regional ingredients and traditional techniques to delight both long-time fans and new generations.
