[Short Version] Michinoku Coastal Trail and Hachinohe Lifestyle Experience Tour

Enjoy trekking and getting in touch with Mother Nature in Hachinohe, the starting and ending point of the Michinoku Coastal Trail. First, savour a hospitable lunch prepared by fishermen using seafood caught at the nearby fishing port, including a sushi roll-making experience, followed by an immersive trek through the beautiful landscapes. Finally, experience the culture of Hachinohe through a tour of the fishermen’s streets (YOKOCHO) and enjoy some drinks to end the tour!

Tour itinerary:
JR Hachinohe Station (11:00 AM) → Tanesashi Kaigan Information Center (11:45 AM)
→ Sushi roll-making experience and fisherman’s lunch at Tanesashi Fishing Port (12:10 PM ~)
→ Trekking (2:00 PM ~ 4:00 PM) → Take a cab to the city centre (4:00 PM ~ 4:30 PM)
→ A tour of the streets (YOKOCHO) (4:30 PM ~ 5:30 PM)

This tour includes the following items:
・Fisherman’s lunch experience (sushi roll-making experience included)
・Trekking guides
・Yokocho tour (1 drink, souvenir, and commemorative photo-taking)
・Travel expenses during the tour
Note: Guides are available during the entire journey

Gathering point: JR Hachinohe Station (JR八戸駅)
Gathering time: 11:00 AM

Restrictions
・Only participants aged 20 and above are allowed, as the tour involves drinking alcoholic beverages.

・This tour is meant for participants who are physically fit enough to walk at least 2 kilometres, even at a slow pace, as trekking on trails is involved.

・If you have any food allergies, please let us know in advance. Please note that we may not be able to accommodate your request.

Required items to bring & wear
・Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes for walking and trekking.

Other information
・Trekking may be cancelled due to weather conditions.

・The route from Tanesashi Kaigan Information Center to Tanesashi Fishing Port can be covered by car upon request.

・The trek distance will be approximately 2 to 3 kilometres.

・Time for rest and rehydration will be provided, and transportation by car will be provided depending on your walking pace.

IMPORTANT NOTES
・Any cancellation made between 10 days (00:00 local time) to 6 days (00:00 local time) before the tour will be subject to a 20% charge of the total amount.

・Any cancellations made between 6 days (00:00 local time) to 1 day (00:00 local time) before the tour will be subject to a 30% charge of the total amount.

・Any cancellations made between 1 day (00:00 local time) to the actual day (00:00 local time) before the tour will be subject to a 50% charge of the total amount.

・Any cancellations made after 00:00 local time until before the tour starts will be subject to a 100% charge of the total amount.
