Grab your pencils and get ready to plan, as we’ll have a slew of stage talks and seminars by our JR East travel experts, and representatives from popular travel destinations like Akita Prefecture and Azumino City!

AirJapan is a new brand under the ANA Group and currently operates on the Singapore – Narita, Bangkok – Narita, and Seoul (Incheon) – Narita routes.

By listening to the wants and needs of our customers, we offer a more comfortable in-flight experience at an affordable price.

At the AirJapan booth, there will be a lucky draw to win AirJapan goods and a colouring experience area for children.

Akita City

Akita City is the capital of Akita Prefecture and a lush green city surrounded by mountains and the sea.

Located in the northern part of the Japanese archipelago, it is a snowy country where the land is covered in snow in winter, but it is also a city where nature and culture blend together, with ancient castles and traditional festivals remaining to this day.

We have prepared products made with ingredients grown in the rich natural environment of Akita City.

These are products that local businesses are proud of, so please come and take a look.

Akita Prefecture

“IburiGakko” is a traditional pickle of Akita Prefecture. Enjoy the smoked aroma and chewy texture. Akita Komachi was developed in Akita Prefecture and has long been a favourite rice in Japan. Amazake is also known as a “drinking infusion” and is a highly nutritious drink. It is made by fermenting rice.

Akita produces many delicious apples. Enjoy our sugar-free 100% apple juice. Akita is famous for producing delicious sake and is home to some of the best sake breweries in Japan. We are pleased to bring you some of our recommended sake.

Azumino City

Azumino City is blessed with lush nature and clear spring water at the foot of the Northern Alps, and has a beautiful landscape that can be called the original landscape of Japan. It is also a city rich in culture and art, as it has an attractive local culture that was built up and passed down through the efforts of its predecessors, as well as numerous art galleries and museums.

When you visit Azumino City, get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and the stress of daily life, and enjoy the soothing feeling of nature that can be felt by all five senses.

Hirosaki City​

Hirosaki City is a castle town with seasonal nature and festivals. In spring, you can enjoy cherry blossoms; in summer, the Neputa Festival; in autumn, the beautiful fall foliage; and in winter, snowfall. Additionally, Hirosaki produces the most apples in Japan, and in autumn, you can experience apple harvesting and savour the seasonal apples.

Izu Peninsula Geopark and Tourism Bureau​

The Izu Peninsula is easily accessible from Tokyo, extending from the eastern part of Shizuoka Prefecture and the border with Kanagawa Prefecture out into the Pacific Ocean. We will introduce you to its beautiful nature, rich food culture developed over a long history, various activities, and stunning views. The early-blooming Kawazu cherry blossoms, beautiful seas, and views of Mount Fuji are particularly famous.

Japan Airlines Co. Ltd.

Japan Airlines (JAL) was founded in 1951 as Japan’s inaugural international airline. It’s renowned for its punctuality and has held a 5-Star Airline rating by Skytrax since 2018.

Currently, JAL operates three daily flights between Singapore and Tokyo, including two flights to Haneda and a flight to Narita, facilitating smooth connections to JAL’s extensive North American flight network.

Exclusive JAL merchandise will be on sale at the Japan Rail Fair 2024, and attendees can also look forward to experiencing trying on the pilot and cabin crew uniforms during photo-taking opportunities with Singapore-based JAL cabin crews.

JAPAN RAIL CAFE​

Singapore’s first and only Japan Railway-themed cafe and main venue partner of The Japan Rail Fair 2024. We’ll be setting up a booth selling various food and snacks from our menu to satisfy the stomaches of hungry fair attendees!

JR East

JR East, Japan’s largest railway operator, has expanded its business beyond railways to include commercial facilities, hotels, retail and e-commerce. In spring 2025, the company plans to launch the “Welcome Suica Mobile” app for overseas visitors, compatible with iPhone and Apple Watch, allowing users to issue and top up Suica* before arriving in Japan, providing a smoother travel experience.

*Suica is a prepaid form of electronic money that can be used for trains, buses, shopping and more.

The Japan Tea Industry Association is the largest and the oldest nationwide tea industry association in Japan, which covers all sections from farmers to retailers, including the artisanal proccessors unique to our country teas. We’d like to introduce the sophisticated flavours of the high quality teas & healthy variety of refreshing bottles!

Kenelephant​

Kenelephant develops and publishes miniatures, soft toys, and art. We will continue produce miniature figures until we have miniaturised objects from all over the world!

Terms and Conditions for “The Japan Rail Fair” Stamp Rally Lucky Draw

  1. Organiser
    The Japan Rail Fair 2024 Stamp Rally is organised by JR East Business Development SEA Pte. Ltd. , henceforth referred to as the “Organiser.”

     

  2. Eligibility

    i. The Japan Rail Fair 2024 Stamp Rally is open to all participants who have successfully collected all six eligible stamps from participating booth vendors for the duration of the Fair.

    ii. Employees of the Organiser, their immediate family members, and individuals connected to the organisation of the event are not eligible to participate in this Stamp Rally.

    iii. Japanese passport holders are ineligible for the “1x Pair of JR EAST Passes” Grand Prize.

     

  3. How to Participate

    i. Participants must collect all stamps by visiting designated booths during The Japan Rail Fair 2024 (held from 11-13 October 2024)

    ii. All six spaces on the stamp rally card must be stamped with their corresponding colour, obtainable from the booth numbers listed above each space. Filled cards which do not meet this requirement will be considered invalid and automatically disqualified.

    iii. Once all stamps are collected, participants must submit their completed stamp cards at the Lucky Draw booth located next to the Main Stage. Completion of a survey provided by the attending booth staff is required before their submissions will be accepted.

    iv. Participants need only submit the torn off corner with their serial number to be entered into the ballot for the Lucky Draw. Participants will be required to hold on to their completed card until the Lucky Draw stage event for verification in the event their number is called.

    v. The cutoff timing for submissions is 10 minutes before the commencement of the Lucky Draw stage event held at the end of each day.

    vi. Each participant is eligible for one (1) lucky draw entry per day of the Event. Participants found submitting multiple entries will have all their submissions past the first be automatically rendered invalid.

     

  4. Prizes
    i. All prizes of The Japan Rail Fair 2024 Lucky Draw are sponsored by the participating vendors of the Fair.

    ii. Prizes received cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.

    Iii. The Grand Prizes of the The Japan Rail Fair 2024 for each day of the event include but are not limited to the following items:
    11 October 2024, Friday – 1x Pair of JR East Rail Passes (Choice between Nagano, Niigata Area or Tohoku Area)
    12 October 2024, Saturday – 1x Pair of Return Economy Class Air Tickets by Japan Airlines
    13 October 2024, Sunday – 1x Pair of Return Air Tickets by AirJapan

     

  5. Winner Announcement
    i. All participants are highly encouraged to attend the Lucky Draw stage event to observe the announcement of the winning numbers.

    ii.
    If the winner of a prize is present during the callout of their number, they will be requested to come onto stage to receive their prize from the respective sponsor.

    iii.
    If the winner is not present during the announcement of their number, they will be notified via their provided mobile number and will be required to claim their prize by the given date or risk chance of forfeiture.

    iv. Winners of any prize listed in 4(iii.) MUST be present at the announcement of their number to collect their prize. If they are not immediately present to collect their prize, a new number will be called in succession until a present winner is found.

  6. Personal Data
    i. By participating, entrants consent to the collection, use, and processing of their personal data for the purpose of administering the lucky draw and for future marketing purposes by the Organiser.

  7. Disqualification

    i. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any participant who is found to have violated these terms and conditions or provided false information.


  8. Changes and Cancellation
    i. The Organiser reserves the right to modify or cancel the terms of the Stamp Rally Lucky Draw at any time without prior notice.
